When is the deadline for camp registration?
Camper registration is open until all spots have been filled.

What is required in order for my child to participate?

  • The supplemental forms can be found in your online account after registration and in the "Supplemental Forms" tab to the left.  All of the forms must be completed in its entirety prior to the start of camp and must be received by camp check-in.
  • $20 key deposit is required for overnight campers. This is due at check-in and is refunded when key is returned at check-out. If your key is lost, you will be assessed an additional $25.

Where are the camps located?

The camps will take place at the Stegeman Coliseum, practice facility and UGA’s Ramsey Student Center.

Where do we go to check-in on the first day of camp?

Future Lady Dogs camp will check in at the dorm and Day Camp will check-in at the Practice Facility, located next to Stegeman Coliseum.

What will my camper receive for attending camp?

All campers will receive a free T-shirt.

Do I need to provide lunch for my child?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided for overnight campers. Most meals are in UGA’s dining halls. Lunch will be provided for Day Camp. We ask all DAY campers to bring a snack. 

Will a medical staff be provided?

A professional athletic trainer is on duty at all camp sessions at all times. Accidental/medical coverage for camp will be provided on an excess and secondary basis.

Who can I contact in case of an emergency?

Can parents stay and watch camp?

Yes, parents are encouraged and welcome to watch camp!

What should my child bring with them to camp?

You can bring a cooler and any snacks. Snack machines are located in the dorms as well.

What will they need to bring for the dorm room?

Overnight campers need to bring: towels, pillow, 2 full sized sheets, warm comforter (it gets cold in the rooms at night), Basketball shoes, socks, shower shoes, laundry bag, gym shorts, T-shirts, toiletries. Please do not unnecessary valuables such as jewelry, iPods, iTouches, etc. Camp is not responsible for such items.

Where do campers stay?

Campers are housed in UGA dorms, which are monitored by UGA staff as well as camp counselors. Directions and parking will be provided in camper packets 2 week prior to the start of camp.

Are there hotels close to campus?

Yes, there are several hotels on/near campus, including the UGA Hotel and Conference Center, the Holiday Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn.

What grade does my child need to be in to attend camp?

The Bulldog Day Camp is for rising 1st-6th graders, and the Future Lady Dogs Camp is for ages 8-16. Team camp is for Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity Teams.

How many players must we have to participate in team camp?

Teams will need a roster of 10 or more in order to compete.

Can my child who is under 12 years old stay overnight?

Campers under the age of 12 must attend camp as a commuter.

When is the check-in and check-out time?

Times vary for each camp. We will be sending a schedule prior to the start of each camp.

My child had a physical over a year ago, but hasn't been injured in the past year. Do I have to get the physician to sign another form this year?

Yes, you will need an up-to-date form signed by the physician.

When is the remaining paperwork and balance due for the camps?

All remaining paperwork and balances are due the morning of registration.

Who supervises the campers in the dorm?

During all other camps besides team camp, our women’s basketball staff will have instructors on each floor to monitor the campers in the dorms. Their rooms will be marked with a sign; this way the campers can easily find what room their hall monitor is in.

What is a typical day like during camp?

Each session will provide position breakdowns, shooting instruction, skill stations, 5-on-5 games and much more. Camps will provide instruction and motivation that will assist beginners and experienced players alike.

Can overnight campers make roommate requests?

Yes. Roommate requests are honored unless a roommate is unable to attend camp. If so, roommates are assigned as close to your age as possible. NOTE: ONLY TWO CAMPERS PER ROOM.
